Technical Assistance to Municipal Infrastructure Project

The purpose of this agreement is to provide support in the implementation of infrastructure works in the selected municipalities and to increase the capacity of municipal stuff and the Ministry of Local Self Government in the development, implementation, monitoring and supervision of infrastructure contracts financed from the IPA 2007 project for a local infrastructure for social and economic cohesion.
Davos Invest as a subcontractor of Egis Bceom on this project provides logistical and technical assistance to the key consultants by engaging local experts, technical and administrative staff for implementation of the following key components of the project:
1. Review of projects prepared by the municipalities.
Within this component, local engineers of Davos have reviewed 40 main project designs for reconstruction and construction of infrastructure facilities of the municipalities
2. Preparation of tender documentation for award of works contract in accordance to PRAG
Within this component local consultants hired by Davos have provided expert technical assistance to the international procurement in the preparation of technical specifications and BoQs which are part of the tender dossier
3. Preparing and delivering training for the municipal staff and the Ministry of Local Self Government to increase their capacity in the development, implementation, monitoring and supervision of infrastructure work contracts / projects
4. Supervision on construction of infrastructure projects
The component is currently being implemented. Davos has an obligation to provide the necessary local supervising engineers and to organize and monitor their work in the implementation of infrastructure projects 14 selected municipalities
